The global competition, which showcases the creative and innovative practices that paint the picture for the future of the industry, honors retail real estate’s most inventive marketing events, technologies and programs that add value to shopping centers and companies from around the world.

Taking home a Gold MAXI in the competition’s Impact category, Strategy+Style was recognized for its breakthrough work on behalf of Sanibel Outlets (Fort Myers, FL) where the firm’s development and execution of an innovative, geo-targeted and weather-triggered digital media campaign -including a highly-sophisticated, people-based, programmatic media buying method -- was strategically designed to track offline attribution, or, real foot traffic to the center. 

Executed during a five-month period where the Southwest Florida coastal region was simultaneously experiencing the worst eruption of Red Tide in over 50 years, Strategy+Style tracked how many shoppers saw the digital ads and subsequently visited the center via capturing device IDs within its targeted geo-fenced locations.  Ultimately the effort resulted in more than 65,000 center visits at attributed sales of nearly $4 million.
